Dossenbach, Jr. moved that the Airport Commission be authorized to execute and furnish to the State the necessary certification of local funds approval. Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. seconded the motion, and upon a vote the results were as follows: AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer. NAY: None. The Chairman ruled the Resolution had been unanimously adopted. Mr. Bob Nelson of the firm of Deloitte, Haskins & Sells appeared before the Board and presented the County's audit. Bound copies were available for each Commissioner, and Mr. Nelson reviewed the highlights of various funds. Mr. Nelson stated that the audit was a clean report. Following the Auditor's presentation of the Audit Report, they presented their contract for audit of the County's books during the period July 1, 1987 through June 30, 1988 . The contract is $33. 50 per hour for each individual assigned to the engagement not to exceed $30, 000 plus expenses. Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. moved that the County contract with Deloitte, Haskins & Sells to audit its accounts for this fiscal year in accordance with the fees set out in the October 16, 1987, contract on LGC Form 205, and that the Chairman be authorized to execute such contract for and on behalf of the County. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as follows: AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer. NAY: None. The Chairman ruled the Resolution unanimously adopted. The Chairman called upon Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker, Chairman of the Human Resources Committee for its report. Commissioner Wicker moved that the County Manager be authorized to solicit inquiries from architects with a view to making a study and recommendations as to the County's future needs of the jail and courthouse.
