Based upon the foregoing, Commissioner John R. <br />Dossenbach, Jr. moved that the Airport Commission be authorized to execute and <br />furnish to the State the necessary certification of local funds approval. Commissioner <br />Raymond C. Cox, Jr. seconded the motion, and upon a vote the results were <br />as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer. <br />NAY: None. <br />The Chairman ruled the Resolution had been unanimously adopted. <br />Mr. Bob Nelson of the firm of Deloitte, Haskins & Sells appeared before <br />the Board and presented the County's audit. Bound copies were available for <br />each Commissioner, and Mr. Nelson reviewed the highlights of various funds. <br />Mr. Nelson stated that the audit was a clean report. Following the Auditor's <br />presentation of the Audit Report, they presented their contract for audit of the <br />County's books during the period July 1, 1987 through June 30, 1988 . The contract <br />is $33. 50 per hour for each individual assigned to the engagement not to exceed <br />$30, 000 plus expenses. Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. moved that the County <br />contract with Deloitte, Haskins & Sells to audit its accounts for this fiscal year <br />in accordance with the fees set out in the October 16, 1987, contract on LGC Form <br />205, and that the Chairman be authorized to execute such contract for and on behalf <br />of the County. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews seconded the motion and upon a <br />vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer. <br />NAY: None. <br />The Chairman ruled the Resolution unanimously adopted. <br />The Chairman called upon Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker, Chairman <br />of the Human Resources Committee for its report. Commissioner Wicker moved <br />that the County Manager be authorized to solicit inquiries from architects with a <br />view to making a study and recommendations as to the County's future needs of the <br />jail and courthouse. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. , seconded the motion <br />and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer. <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the Resolution had been unanimously adopted. <br />
