gook 1E Fete 34 1 <br />Mr. Tom Gordon, President of San-Lee Care, Inc., appeared before <br />the Board and gave a report on the building project for that corporation. <br />Mr. Meigs Golden, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Central Carolina <br />Technical College appeared before the Board on behalf of the Board of Trustees of <br />that institution and requested that the name of the college be changed from Central <br />Carolina Technical College to Central Carolina Community College. Commissioner <br />Bertha L. Matthews moved the adoption of the following Resolution: RESOLVED <br />that the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee concur in and approve of the <br />adoption of the name of Central Carolina Community College in lieu of the name <br />Central Carolina Technical College. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker seconded the <br />motion and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman declared the Resolution had been unanimously adopted. <br />Mr. Leonard Barefoot, County Planner, appeared before the Board and <br />presented the final plat of the Beverly Hills Subdivision. Mr. Barefoot reported <br />that the Planning Board recommended the approval of the plat with a change of the <br />easement from 40 to 50 feet. After consideration and review, the Chairman called <br />the question and Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. moved that the recommendations <br />of the Planning Board be approved and the plat be approved with such amendment. <br />Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were <br />as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the Resolution had been unanimously adopted. <br />Mr. Barefoot reported that the developer had withdrawn from consideration <br />the Lake Villanow Subdivision Section I. <br />Mr. Barefoot, County Planner, advised the Chairman he had delivered <br />a copy of the Land Development Plan for Lee County for their consideration and that <br />the Planning Board recommended that the Board schedule a public hearing on said <br />plan. Chairman Wilma Winstead of the Planning Board was recognized and spoke <br />and requested that the Board schedule such hearing at a time when the public would <br />have an opportunity to appear. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. moved that <br />the Board schedule a public hearing on the question of whether or not Lee County <br />should adopt the Lee County Development Plan for January 19, 1988.
