gook 1E Fete 34 1 Mr. Tom Gordon, President of San-Lee Care, Inc., appeared before the Board and gave a report on the building project for that corporation. Mr. Meigs Golden, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Central Carolina Technical College appeared before the Board on behalf of the Board of Trustees of that institution and requested that the name of the college be changed from Central Carolina Technical College to Central Carolina Community College. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews moved the adoption of the following Resolution: RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee concur in and approve of the adoption of the name of Central Carolina Community College in lieu of the name Central Carolina Technical College. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as follows: AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer NAY: None The Chairman declared the Resolution had been unanimously adopted. Mr. Leonard Barefoot, County Planner, appeared before the Board and presented the final plat of the Beverly Hills Subdivision. Mr. Barefoot reported that the Planning Board recommended the approval of the plat with a change of the easement from 40 to 50 feet. After consideration and review, the Chairman called the question and Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. moved that the recommendations of the Planning Board be approved and the plat be approved with such amendment. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as follows: AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer NAY: None The Chairman ruled the Resolution had been unanimously adopted. Mr. Barefoot reported that the developer had withdrawn from consideration the Lake Villanow Subdivision Section I. Mr. Barefoot, County Planner, advised the Chairman he had delivered a copy of the Land Development Plan for Lee County for their consideration and that the Planning Board recommended that the Board schedule a public hearing on said plan. Chairman Wilma Winstead of the Planning Board was recognized and spoke and requested that the Board schedule such hearing at a time when the public would have an opportunity to appear. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. moved that the Board schedule a public hearing on the question of whether or not Lee County should adopt the Lee County Development Plan for January 19, 1988.
