Lee County Board ommissioners o:x 42 352 Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker made a motion to adopt said Resolution. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker, and Dotterer NAY: None The Chairman ruled that the Resolution had been adopted by unanimous vote. Mr. Elwin Buchanan, Grants Administrator, presented a revised schedule of grievance procedures relating to relocation claims, payment, and replacement housing, as required in a Community Development Block Grant Project. These procedures are as follows: (1) All material upon which the Department based its original determination including all applicable rules and regulations; (2) The reasons given by the claimant for requesting review and reconsideration of his claim; (3) Whatever additional material has been submitted by the claimant; and (4) Any further information which the Director may, in his discretion, obtain by request, investigation, or research to insure fair and full review of the claim. The final determination or review by the Community Development Department shall include, but is not limited to: (1) The Director's decision on reconsideration of the claim; (2) The factual and legal basis upon which the decision is based, including any pertinent explanation or rationale; (3) A statement of claimant's right to seek within 30 days further review of his claim by HUD and an explanation of the steps the claimant must take to obtain this review, including the address of the HUD Area Office which has respon- sibility for the locality wherein the displacement occurred. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. made a motion to accept these procedures. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker, and Dotterer NAY: None The Chairman ruled that the grievance procedures had been approved by unanimous vote.
