r t <br />boo, 12 r;,s 356 <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />J FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />MONDAY, DECEMBER 21, 1987 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee <br />convened in the Commissioners' Room on the second floor of the County Office <br />Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, North Carolina, on Monday, December 21, <br />1987, at 4:00o'clock P. M. Those present were: Commissioners Raymond C. <br />Cox, Jr. ; John R. Dossenbach, Jr. ; John E. Dotterer; Bertha L. Matthews and <br />Gordon A. Wicker. The Chairman declared a quorum present and the meeting open <br />for the transaction of business. <br />Chairman John E. Dotterer presided and the following business was <br />transacted: <br />The invocation was given by County Manager Jim Mills. <br />The draft of the minutes of the regular meeting held on Monday, December <br />7, 1987, were reviewed and considered. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews <br />moved that the draft be adopted as the official minutes and recorded. Commissioner <br />John R. Dossenbach, Jr. , seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as <br />follows : <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer. <br />NAY: None. <br />The Chairman ruled that the resolution had been unanimously adopted, and <br />ordered that the minutes be recorded. <br />Mr. Elwin Buchanan, Grants Administrator, appeared before the Board <br />and discussed the construction work being carried on in the San-Lee Heights area <br />with respect to sewer lines.
