, L~'o< V Tr,sr[ 3x13 <br />Mrs. Betty Johnson asked where were all the people who opposed <br />the plan when the board held its public hearing. <br />After the Board had heard all persons who requested to be heard, <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. moved that the public hearing be <br />closed. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker seconded the motion, and upon a vote <br />the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer. <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted <br />and the public meeting closed. <br />The Board then observed a short recess following which they re- <br />convened with all members present. <br />Mr. Leonard Barefoot, County Planner, appeared before the Board <br />and presented for consideration by the Board an abbreviated final plat of <br />subdivisions for development by Mr. Wayne Foushee on a 5 acre tract on Pressley <br />Foushee Road. <br />Mr. Barefoot also presented road petitions that Border Lee Farms, <br />Secondary Road 1369 and Wilmoth Road, Secondary Road 1386 be paved. <br />Mr. Barefoot also presented a petition for White Oak, Red Oak and <br />Live Oak Streets in Oakdale Subdivision asking that these roads be taken over for <br />maintenance. <br />Mr. Barefoot reported that the Planning Board recommended approval <br />of the Plat and approval of the Petitions. <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr, moved that the recommendations <br />of the Planning Board be accepted and that the Subdivision Plat be approved and <br />that appropriate resolutions be adopted requesting the work for the named streets. <br />Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. , seconded the motion, and upon a vote the <br />results were: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer. <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been unanimously adopted. <br />
