Cox, Jr. , seconded the motion and <br />upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer <br />NAY: None <br />- 20, 000 <br />The Chairman ruled the Budget Amendment had been unanimously <br />adopted. <br />The Board next discussed the problem created by people skate- <br />boarding in the County parking lot. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. <br />moved that the Board prohibit skate-boarding on County parking lots and <br />direct that signs notify the public of such prohibition be posted. Commissioner <br />Raymond C. Cox, Jr. , seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as <br />follows : <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer <br />NAY: None <br />The request of Freedom Cablevision for the County to appoint <br />members to serve on a Cablevision Committee was taken under advisement. <br />Mrs. Beatrice Fields , County Finance Officer, and County Manager <br />Jim Mills reviewed the status of the County budget in detail. <br />Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker asked that steps be taken to improve <br />the outward appearance of the County Office Building. <br />Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker reported to the Board that the <br />Youth Services Commission wanted to place on hold the building at the old <br />swimming pool site and would like to make a survey of using the nurse's <br />home for their program. <br />The County Manager reported that he would attend a seminar. <br />
