12 3 7 2 <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />1, j <br />T.,.,.., <br />MONDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 1988 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of <br />Lee convened in the Commissioners' Room on the second floor of the County <br />Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford , North Carolina, on Monday, February <br />1, 1988, at 9:30 A. M. Those present were: Commissioners Raymond C. Cox, Jr. <br />John R. Dossenbach, Jr. ; John E. Dotterer; Bertha L. Matthews and Gordon A. <br />Wicker. The Chairman declared a quorum present and the meeting open for the <br />transaction of business. <br />Chairman John E. Dotterer presided and the following business was <br />transacted: <br />The invocation was given by County Manager Jim Mills. <br />The draft of the minutes of the regular meeting held on Tuesday, January <br />19, 1988, was reviewed and considered. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. , <br />moved that the draft be adopted as the official minutes and recorded. Commissioner <br />Bertha L, Matthews seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted <br />and ordered that the minutes be recorded. <br />County Manager Jim Mills reported on the work at the Human Resources <br />Building. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker requested that the minutes reflect that <br />he does not approve of the change order negotiated with the contractor. <br />Mr. Leonard Barefoot, County Planner, appeared before the Board <br />to discuss the request of Mrs. Ramona Lawson to allow her to place a mobile home <br />
