The Chairman ruled the motion was unanimously adopted. <br />Mr. Barefoot next presented for review by the Board of the <br />Winding Creek Subdivision, Section IV, off Carbonton Road in Pocket Township, <br />being developed by Mr. Van Harris. The Planning Board recommended that <br />the plat be approved. One member of the Planning Board, Miss JoAnn Godfrey, <br />is interested in an adjoining tract and has had litigation with Mr. Harris and <br />for that reason abstained from voting. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. <br />moved that the plat be approved. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews seconded <br />the motion and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker & Dotterer <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion was unanimously adopted. <br />Mr. Barefoot presented an abbreviated final plat of the Monroe <br />Matthews, Jr. Subdivision for review and consideration by the Board. This <br />Subdivision is a 40 acre tract located north of Post Office Road in East Sanford <br />Township. The Board recommended approval of.the plat. Commissioner Gordon <br />A. Wicker moved that the Board approve the plat. Commissioner Raymond C. <br />Cox, Jr. , seconded the motion, and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker & Dotterer <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled that the resolution had been unanimously adopted. <br />Mr. Barefoot reported that the Planning Board considered the request <br />of Mrs. Ramona Lawson and Leonard Ascough for a mobile home permit in <br />Cumnock. Mr. Barefoot reported that the Planning Board had considered the <br />matter and requested that the determination be made by the Health Department <br />whether or not the placing of a mobile home would be within the Health Depart- <br />ment guide lines but they considered further the question of amendment to the <br />Mobile Home Ordinance. The Board discussed the matter during which Commissioner <br />Gordon A. Wicker moved that the request of Mr. Ascough be treated as a hardship <br />matter and permission granted. There was no second to the motion and the Chairman <br />ruled the motion died for lack of a second. The Board instructed Mr. Barefoot <br />to comply with the wishes of the Planning Board. <br />The Board next considered the matter of whether or not Lee <br />County should seek to operate a District Health Department in conjunction with <br />
