"84 <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />J <br />MONDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 1988 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County <br />of Lee convened in the Commissioners' Room on the second floor of the County <br />Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, North Carolina, on Monday, <br />February 15, 1988, at 7:00 o'clock P. M. Those present were: Commissioners <br />Raymond C. Cox, Jr. ; John R. Dossenbach, Jr. ; John E. Dotterer; Bertha L. <br />Matthews and Gordon A. Wicker. The Chairman declared a quorum present and <br />the meeting open for the transaction of business. <br />Chairman John E. Dotterer presided and the following business was <br />transacted: <br />The invocation was given by Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. <br />The draft of the minutes of the regular meeting held on Monday, <br />February 1, 1988, and the draft of the minutes of the special meeting held on <br />Thursday, February 11, 1988, were reviewed and considered. Commissioner <br />Bertha L. Matthews moved that the drafts be adopted as the official minutes for <br />the meetings and recorded. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. , seconded <br />the motion, and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the Resolution had been unanimously adopted and <br />ordered that the minutes be recorded. <br />Mr. John Kinney of the architectural firm of O'Brien/Atkins Associates, <br />P. A. appeared before the Board and reviewed the work being done at the Lee <br />County Human Resources building. During his review, he presented plans and <br />
