~vos V 1s, 4 <br />Matthews, David S. Overton, Dr. Katherine Settle, Bert Matthews, Shelia Petty, <br />Ruth Reives, Garland Smith and Molly Watts. <br />Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. seconded the motion. <br />During the discussion of the motion, Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker <br />protested these appointments and stated that he felt he was entitled to appoint <br />two of the persons to this Board and also protested that he did not have sufficient <br />time to make nominations to the Board. <br />Upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews and Dotterer <br />NAY: Wicker <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted by a majority vote. <br />County Manager, Jim Mills, presented for consideration the Community <br />Anti-Poverty Plan submitted by the Johnson-Lee County Community Action, Inc. <br />for the fiscal year 1988. Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. moved that the <br />Board approve the Anti-Poverty Plan. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews seconded <br />the motion and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted. <br />Lee County Manager Jim Mills submitted Budget Amendent #03/18/88/12 <br />dated March 18, 1988 and reviewed its contents with the Board. Following the <br />County Manager's explanation, Commissioner Gordon A.
