E1J J11 10 -,v~ c 403 <br />MINU TES OF THE A DJOU RNED REGU LA R MEE TING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />MONDAY, MARCH 28, 1988 <br />The adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the <br />County of Lee convened in the Commissioners' Room on the second floor of the <br />County Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, North Carolina, on Monday, <br />March 28, 1988, at 7:00 o'clock P. M. , same being the time, date and place <br />specified in the motion of adjournment adopted on March 21, 1988. Those present <br />were: Commissioners Raymond C. Cox, Jr., John R. Dossenbach, Jr., John <br />E. Dotterer, Bertha L. Matthews and Gordon A. Wicker. <br />The Chairman declared a quorum present and the meeting open for the <br />transaction of business. Chairman John E. Dotterer presided and the following <br />business was transacted: <br />The invocation was given by County Attorney K. R. Hoyle. <br />The draft of the minutes of the regular meeting held on Monday, March <br />21, 1988, was reviewed and considered. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. <br />moved the draft be adopted as the official minutes for the meeting; Commissioner <br />Raymond C. Cox, Jr. , seconded the motion, and upon a vote the results were as <br />follows: <br />AYE, Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted, and <br />ordered that the minutes be recorded. <br />The County Manager presented a draft of the agreement between <br />the County and Patterson Exploration Services of Sanford for the sub-surface <br />investigation of the sub-surface of the elevated water tank storage site at the Golden <br />Poultry project. The contract was reviewed and Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews <br />moved that the contract be approved and the appropriate County officers be authorized <br />to execute same for and on behalf of the County. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. <br />seconded the motion, and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />
