~cOs 12 431 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: <br />THAT the Board of Commissioners of the County of Lee <br />certifies that the work of the appraiser and the review appraiser <br />with respect to each property has been performed in a competent <br />manner in accordance with applicable State law, the Uniform Relocation <br />Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970, <br />Public Law 91-646, and the Department of Housing and Urban Develop- <br />ment policies and requirements; and <br />That just compensation is hereby established for the land as <br />follows : <br />Parcel # Area Acres Owners Interest to be acquired Established Fair <br />Market Value <br />#1 One(1) acre Baker Corp. Fee Simple $1, 200. 00 <br />9 Holiday Dr. <br />Sarasota, F1 3358(Harold McNeil) <br />Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews seconded the motion and upon a <br />vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled that the Resolution had been unanimously adopted. <br />Mr, Elwin Buchanan, Grants Director, and Mr. Ronnie Martin, Director, <br />Lee County Youth Council, appeared before the Board requesting authorization <br />to make application for grants. Mr. Martin presented documents which indicated <br />that $160,117. 00 was needed for the establishment of a Youth Shelter Home in <br />Lee County. This contemplated that revenue of $29, 500. 00 would be obtained f rom <br />the State, $81, 932. 00 from Federal and the County would furnish $48, 685. 00. Mr. <br />Martin estimated that operating costs after the first year would be approximately <br />$97,000.00 annually excluding rate hikes. <br />Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker moved that the appropriate officials <br />be authorized to make application for grants for the establishment for a Youth <br />Shelter Home in Lee County. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews seconded the <br />motion, and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer <br />NAY: None <br />
