F,.;o< 12 4 3 4 <br />WHEREAS, all persons, families, businesses, agencies and <br />organizations are encouraged to participate by adopting a road or <br />section of road in their community to clean up; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Lee County Board of <br />Commissioners that the Month of May is hereby proclaimed "Clean <br />Up Roads and Streets Month" in Lee County and that this proclamation <br />be distributed to the public through the media to encourage active <br />participation by the community. <br />Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews seconded the motion and upon a vote <br />the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been unanimously adopted and <br />promptly signed and issued the Proclamation. <br />County Manager Mills advised the Board that they would be <br />receiving bids on Thursday, May 12th, at 3:00 P. M. for the electrical work at <br />the old hospital building. <br />Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr, moved that the Board go into <br />executive session to discuss personnel matters. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews <br />seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer <br />NAY: None. <br />The Chairman ruled that the resolution had been unanimously adopted and <br />requested that all spectators leave the meeting room. Following the executive <br />session, Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. moved that the executive session be <br />closed and the Board resume its open meeting. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews <br />seconded the motion, and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been unanimously adopted and the <br />meeting was open to all interested persons. The anteroom was checked and all <br />persons waiting for the conclusion of the executive session were invited into the <br />meeting room. <br />
