Section 2. That the Legislative Delegation representing Lee County be requested to secure the passage of legislation by the General Assembly which authorize the following: (A) To allow Lee County to receive the One Million Dollar appropria- tion from the State; (B) To allow Lee County to convey the portion of the old County Home property at the intersection of Kelly Drive and Nash Street to the contractor selected to build the Resource Center Building with the understanding that the County would reacquire the completed building and property pursuant to a lease-purchase agreement. Section 3. That the County Manager is authorized and directed to include in the budget for the fiscal year beginning on July 1 in 1988, 1989, 1990, and 1991, the sum of Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500, 000. 00) to provide the Two Million Dollars ($2, 000, 000. 00) in local funds for said project. BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for Lee County as follows: Section 1. There is established a school construction reserve fund to accumulate and provide Two Million Dollars ($2, 000, 000. 00) for the construction of school buildings by the Lee County Board of Education. Section 2. That the County Manager is authorized and directed to include in the budget for the fiscal year beginning on July 1 in 1988, 1989, 1990, and 1991, the sum of Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500, 000. 00) to provide the Two Million Dollars ($2, 000, 000. 00) for said fund. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. , seconded the motion, and after discussion and upon a roll call vote, the Board voted as follows: AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer NAY: None
