~no,-< 12 ~~,sE 445 <br />College by providing Two Million Dollars ($2, 000, 000. 00) in <br />local funds to be combined with One Million Dollars ($1, 000, 000. 00) <br />of State funds to meet the estimated cost of construction in the amount <br />of Three Million Dolla rs ($3, 000, 000. 00). <br />Section 2. That the Legislative Delegation representing Lee County <br />be requested to secure the passage of legislation by the General <br />Assembly which authorize the following: <br />(A) To allow Lee County to receive the One Million Dollar appropria- <br />tion from the State; <br />(B) To allow Lee County to convey the portion of the old County Home <br />property at the intersection of Kelly Drive and Nash Street to the <br />contractor selected to build the Resource Center Building with the <br />understanding that the County would reacquire the completed building <br />and property pursuant to a lease-purchase agreement. <br />Section 3. That the County Manager is authorized and directed to <br />include in the budget for the fiscal year beginning on July 1 in 1988, <br />1989, 1990, and 1991, the sum of Five Hundred Thousand Dollars <br />($500, 000. 00) to provide the Two Million Dollars ($2, 000, 000. 00) in <br />local funds for said project. <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for Lee County as <br />follows: <br />Section 1. There is established a school construction reserve fund <br />to accumulate and provide Two Million Dollars ($2, 000, 000. 00) for <br />the construction of school buildings by the Lee County Board of <br />Education. <br />Section 2. That the County Manager is authorized and directed to <br />include in the budget for the fiscal year beginning on July 1 in 1988, <br />1989, 1990, and 1991, the sum of Five Hundred Thousand Dollars <br />($500, 000. 00) to provide the Two Million Dollars ($2, 000, 000. 00) <br />for said fund. <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. , seconded the motion, and <br />after discussion and upon a roll call vote, the Board voted as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer <br />NAY: None <br />
