0 0 <br />BOOK 12 PAGE 462-G <br />1. That effective June 30, 1988, the District Health Department <br />consisting of Caswell, Chatham, Lee and Person Counties be dissolved. <br />2. That Charles L. Harper, Director of the District Health Department <br />shall have authority beyond June 30, 1988, to pay out of Departmental <br />funds any obligations authorized by the District Board of Health prior <br />to July 1, 1988 before determination of any budgetary surplus. <br />3. After paying or providing for the foregoing, any budgetary surplus <br />including any tangible property shall be distributed and any liabilities <br />shared among the counties comprising the district on the same basis <br />that the counties appropriated and contributed funds to the District <br />Health Department budget during the current fiscal year. <br />Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr., seconded the motion and upon a <br />vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted. <br />County Manager Mills presented Budget Request #06/20/88/20 which <br />reflected a request from the Department for the Aging to allocate funds received <br />to provide respite care and to reflect gift to the Parks and Recreation for <br />building maintenance. Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. moved the adoption <br />of the following resolutions <br />BB114RESOLVED that the Budget for the period 7-1-87 - 6-1-88 <br />be amended as follows: <br />SECTION 1.
