Dossenbach, Jr. seconded and upon a vote the results were as <br />follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted and <br />ordered the minutes be recorded. <br />The Chairman stated that The Lee County Industrial Facilities and <br />Pollution Control Financing Authority had adopted a resolution expressing its <br />intention to issue revenue bonds and authorizing the execution and delivery of <br />an inducement agreement pertaining to the financing of an industrial project <br />for Wake Stone Corporation. The Chairman submitted copies of the resolution <br />and the inducement agreement to the Board, The Chairman then stated that a <br />notice had been published on July 8, 1988, that the Board would hold a public <br />hearing on July 18, 1988, on the proposed project and the issuance of revenue <br />bonds to finance the project. <br />Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. moved that the Board proceed to <br />hold a public hearing on the project and the issuance of revenue bonds to <br />finance the project. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker <br />and was unanimously adopted. <br />At 7:15 o'clock P. M., the Chairman announced that the Board would <br />hear anyone who wished to be heard on the advisability of the proposed project <br />and the issuance of revenue bonds to finance the project and that a <br />representative of the Authority was present and was prepared to discuss the <br />details concerning the proposed project and bond issue. <br />The names and addresses of the persons who were present, summaries of <br />their oral comments and copies of their written comments are set forth below: <br />Mr. Thomas B. Oxholm, Vice President of Wake Stone Corp, reviewed the <br />company's past history and its operations in both Wake and Lee Counties, and <br />told of efforts by the Company to explore with the quarry's neighbors their <br />concerns and what the company could do to reassure them they would be a good <br />corporate citizen. <br />Mr. <br />the meetings <br />application at <br />Mr <br />John R.
