Wicker seconded the motion and upon a vote the results <br />were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Matthews, Wicker & Dossenbach <br />NAY: None <br />The Vice-Chairman ruled the Resolution had been unanimously adopted. <br />Mr. Bobby Johnson, Public Works Director, appeared before the Board <br />and reported on the results of the advertisement for bids for the leasing of <br />two refuse trucks. The bid tabulation sheet is attached to these minutes and <br />by this reference made a part hereof. Mr. Johnson recommended that the low bid <br />of Lodal South be accepted with financing to be accomplished through the <br />Southern National Leasing Corporation which carried an interest rate of 7.09% <br />which would require payments of $3,911.91 per month over a five year period on <br />the bid price of $198,302.00. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews moved that the <br />low bid of Lodal South with the financing plan of Southern National Leasing <br />Corporation be accepted. Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr., seconded the <br />motion, and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Matthews, Wicker and Dossenbach <br />NAY: None <br />The Vice-Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted. <br />Mr. Nathan Crissman, County Tax Collector, appeared before the Board <br />and presented the names of owners of property who had not paid their 1987 <br />taxes, and requested authority to initiate in rem foreclosure proceedings. <br />Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. moved that the County Tax Collector be <br />authorized to initiate in rem foreclosure proceedings on all real property on <br />which the 1987 taxes have not been paid. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker seconded <br />the motion and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Matthews, Wicker and Dossenbach <br />NAY: None <br />
