3OOi 12 P',Sr 44 7_02 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA MONDAY, AUGUST 15, 1988 The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened in the Commissioners' room on the second floor of the County Office Building, 200 wicker Street, Sanford, North Carolina, on Monday, August 15, 1988, at 7:00 o'clock P. M. Those present were Commissioners Raymond C. Cox, Jr.; John R. Dossenbach, Jr.; Bertha L. Matthews, and Gordon A. Wicker. Chairman John E. Dotterer was absent. Vice-Chairman John R. Dossenbach; Jr. declared a quorum present and the meeting open for the transaction of business. 4 Vice-Chairman John R. Dossenbach, Jr. presided and the following business was transacted:" The invocation was given by.Leonard Barefoot, County Planner. The draft of the minutes of the regular meeting held on Monday, August 1, 1988, was reviewed and considered. Corrections were made to the draft and following the corrections, Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews moved that the corrected draft be adopted as the official minutes. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as follows: AYE: Cox, Matthews, Wicker and Dossenbach NAY: None The Vice-Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted and ordered the minutes be recorded. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker moved that the Board proceed to hold a public hearing on the revision to the County's Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance. Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as follows: AYE: Cox, Matthews, Wicker and Dossenbach NAY: None The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted and the public hearing was open.
