Av i2 F,'.sc 51_~ <br />moved that the executive session be closed. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews <br />seconded the motion, and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted and <br />the Board resumed its public session. <br />The Board next considered the matter of holding a public hearing with <br />respect to the leasing of the real property which was acquired by gift for the <br />purpose of providing for utility services to an industrial facility, to Floyd <br />Browne Associates, Inc., together with easements providing access to such site <br />and also a public hearing with respect to a contract with Floyd Browne <br />Associates, Inc. to provide utility services, namely the construction and <br />operation of a water treatment plant for the supply of whater to an industrial <br />facility. Commissioner John R., Dossenbach, Jr. moved that the Board <br />determine the fair market value of the interest to be $12,672 and that the <br />consideration for the lease is $1.00 per month, together with the acquisition <br />of all improvements at the end of the lease which improvements are estimated to <br />be worth two million dollars, and that accordingly the Board schedule a public <br />hearing for 9:30 A. M. on October 3, 1988 after giving notice pursuant to G. S. <br />158-7.1 and that the hearing be held in the Commissioners' room in the County <br />Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, North Carolina. Commissioner <br />Raymond C. Cox, Jr., seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as <br />follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted. <br />There being no further business to come before the session, it was <br />adjourned sine die. <br />:~vA <br />E.
