ov 12 513 <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF <br />THE HOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />J ***:t***:t*:t:t*t*****:tt***t:t:t*:t:r******:t:t**:t*:t:t**+****:t**:t :tt*tt:r:r********:t *:t:t*:t <br />Monday, September 19, 1988 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of <br />Lee, State of North Carolina, convened in the Commissioners' room on the second <br />floor of the County Office Building, 200 wicker Street, Sanford, North <br />Carolina, on Monday, September 19, 1988, at 7:00 o'clock P. M. Those present <br />were: Commissioners Raymond C. Cox, Jr.; John R. Dossenbach, Jr.; John E. <br />Dotterer; Bertha L. Matthews and Gordon A. Wicker. The Chairman, John E. <br />Dotterer, declared a quorum present and the meeting open for the transaction of <br />business. <br />Chairman John E. Dotterer presided and the following business was <br />transacted: <br />The invocation was given by Mr. Leonard Barefoot, County Planner. <br />The draft of the minutes of the regular meeting held on Tuesday, <br />September 6, 1988, was reviewed and considered. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker <br />moved that the draft be adopted as the official minutes for that meeting. <br />Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr., seconded the motion and upon a vote the <br />results were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted and <br />ordered the minutes recorded. <br />Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews moved that the Board proclaim the <br />week of October 2nd, 1988, through October 8th, as mental Illness Awareness <br />Week, and that the proclamation, a copy of which is attached to these minutes <br />and by this reference made a part hereof be issued to that effect. <br />Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker seconded the motion and upon a vote the results <br />were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted and <br />the Chairman and Clerk signed the Proclamation, a copy of which is attached to <br />
