B. <br />_ Information <br />Meeting Date: November 14, 2011 _ Action Item <br />XX Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT Recommendation from the Lee County Planning Board — Village of <br />Cumnock <br />DEPARTMENT Sanford -Lee County Community Development <br />CONTACT PERSON Marshall Downey, Assistant Planning Director <br />REQUEST Consider recommendation of the Planning Board and make final <br />decision on the rezoning request. <br />SUMMARY A public hearing was held on October 17, 2011 to consider a <br />rezoning request by the Village of Cumnock, LLC to rezone 128.84± acres of land at the <br />northwest corner of US Highway 421 N. and Cumnock Road from Residential Agricultural (RA) <br />and Residential Restricted (RR) districts to the Village of Cumnock, LLC Highway Commercial <br />Conditional Zoning District. <br />BUDGET IMPACT N/A <br />ATTACHMENT(S) (1) Conditions and Prohibited Uses proposed by Applicant, (2) Staff <br />Report and map presented at public hearing, (3) Highway Commercial permitted use list, and (4) <br />Ordinance to Amend the Official Zoning Map of Lee County <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />PRIOR BOARD ACTION <br />No - Held on October 17, 2011 <br />N/A <br />RECOMMENDATION Approve the Planning Boards' recommendation to accept the <br />conditions as presented above with the following condition: A <br />detailed site plan will be required to be approved by the Board of <br />Commissioners in the same procedural manner as the public <br />hearing prior to a development permit. <br />
