WithersRavenel <br /> Our People.Your Success. <br /> Deliverables(paper and.pdf formats): <br /> 1 Three(3)sets of final plans <br /> / One(1)revised opinion of probable costs <br /> ► One(1)set of technical specifications Sections 2-32 <br /> TASK 9-BIDDING ASSISTANCE <br /> WithersRavenel will prepare and provide necessary specifications for the infrastructure associated with the <br /> above and will assist the County with the bidding process to select lowest responsible bidder. <br /> This task includes: <br /> ► Coordinating and Assembling Plans and Contract Documents to send to bidding contractors; <br /> 1 Utilizing and administrating QuestCDN online services for bid administration and plan holder <br /> documentation; <br /> ► Answering Requests for Information(RFI)from Contractors(assumed 6 hours); <br /> ► Attending one(1)pre-bid meeting(Lee County); <br /> ► Prepare summary of pre-bid meeting, <br /> ► Preparation of Addendums (assumed 2 addendum which includes distribution of pre-bid meeting <br /> information); <br /> ► Attending one(1)bid opening(Lee County); <br /> ► Reviewing and tabulating Bids and providing to Client; <br /> ► Providing a recommendation for selection of contractor based on bids; <br /> ► Assist with obtaining signed Contract Documents. <br /> The above pertains only to one(1)bid opening and does not include any negotiations with contractors. <br /> TASK 10—LIMITED CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION AND OBSERVATION <br /> 10.1 Project Administration <br /> Provide County with Project Administration services during construction related to the subsequent <br /> development of the subject property including: <br /> ► Prepare for and conduct Kickoff Meeting/Preconstruction Conference on-site with Town and <br /> Contractor (1 meeting). Includes organization, attendance, and subsequent documentation of <br /> meeting. Assumes no rain outs. <br /> ► Attend On-site meetings with Owner and/or Contractor to discuss schedule,contractor issues,County <br /> issues, etc. during active construction period (noted in Section H below). This information will be <br /> passed onto the Owner for action for this proposal,this would include 9 meetings; <br /> ► Reviewing shop drawings for applicable items(estimated 15 hours); <br /> ► Follow up with client and contractors(estimated 1 hour per month during entire construction period); <br /> ► Responding to requests for information(estimated 10 hours); <br /> ► Emails,phone correspondence,and any letters needed to communicate with the contractor,owner, <br /> and/or County through the timeframe noted above that are not included in other tasks(estimated at <br /> 0.5 hour per week during entire construction period); <br /> ► Manage internal processes during construction. <br /> 10.2 Construction Administration and Observation Services <br /> This task would be for periodic general observation and documentation concerning the construction according to <br /> the contract documents. At the time of writing this proposal, it is our understanding that the project will be <br /> developed in only 1 phase of construction. <br /> The active construction timeframe begins with the beginning of construction on any of the sites through <br /> installation of the items noted in the contract documents.Timeframes noted assumes continuous construction <br /> and through any phasing noted. <br /> Lee County Park Design WR No.0218109100 <br /> 12.04.18 <br /> Page 7 of 12 <br />
