Kelly. <br />0 <br />The Chairman noted that the Board had been requested to <br />proclaim the week of November 13th through 19th as American Education <br />Week. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews moved that the Chairman be <br />authorized and directed to issue a proclamation designating November <br />13th through November 19th, 1988, as American Education Week. <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr., seconded the motion, and upon a <br />vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously <br />adopted. <br />The Chairman noted that the Board had been requested to <br />proclaim the period of November 18th through November 24th as Farm <br />City Week. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews moved that the Chairman <br />be authorized and directed to issue a proclamation designating the <br />period of November 18th through November 24th as Farm City Week. <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr., seconded the motion, and upon a <br />vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the Resolution had been unanimously <br />adopted. <br />At this point Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker asked to be <br />excused because of a medical emergency in his family. <br />In view of the fact that the Farm City Week banquet would <br />be held on Monday, November 21st at the Ruritan Club House in Lemon <br />Springs, the Board discussed the matter of the time for their next <br />meeting. Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr., moved that the time for <br />the meeting on November 21st be set as 8:00 P. M. Commissioner Bertha <br />L. Matthews seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as <br />follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews and Dotterer <br />NAY: None <br />Ab sent: Wicker <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously <br />adopted, and requested that all those who have requested notice of <br />the Board's meetings under the open meeting law be advised of the <br />change in the time of the meeting. <br />Mr. Eugene Hines, Jr., Director of the Lee County Health <br />
