CU <br />Commissioner Bertha <br />resolution: <br />NI <br />Boa 12 Poo 560 <br />L. Matthews moved the adoption of the following <br />WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the Board of County <br />Commissioner of the County of Lee requesting that Rockwood Drive in Westlake <br />Valley Subdivision be added to the Secondary Road system; and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioner is of the opinion that the <br />above described road should be added to the Secondary Road System if the road <br />meets minimum standards and criteria established by the Division of Highways of <br />the Department of Transportation for the addition of roads to the system. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Commissioner of the <br />County of Lee that the Division of Highways is hereby requested to review the <br />above described road, and to take over the road for maintenance if it meets <br />established standards and criteria. <br />Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr., seconded the motion, and upon a vote the <br />results were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted. <br />Mr. Leonard Barefoot then presented to the board a petition <br />requesting that Quail Ridge Drive, Mockingbird Lane, Morning Dove Drive, Thrush <br />Circle, Blue Jay Drive, Divot Circle and Chickadee Court in Quail Ridge <br />Subdivision be added to the State maintained Secondary Road System. Mr. <br />Barefoot reported to the Board that several residents in the Quail Ridge <br />Subdivision had presented petitions requesting that several of the streets be <br />added to the Secondary Road System for maintenance and repair with the Division <br />of Highways local maintenance engineer to be worked out with the property <br />owners to define which streets meet the department's criteria and qualify for <br />maintenance. <br />Commissioner Bertha L.
