Matthews seconded the motion and upon a vote <br />the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been passed <br />unanimously <br />Mr. Eugene C. Hines, Health Director, appeared before the <br />Board and requested authority to advertise for the employment of an <br />accounting technician. Mr. Hines stated the technician was needed to <br />file for reimbursement for State funds. Commissioner. Bertha L. <br />Matthews moved that the Board of Health be authorized and empowered <br />to advertise for the employment of an accounting technician. <br />Commissioner William C. Stafford, Jr., seconded the motion and upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker, and Cox <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously <br />adopted. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker requested that the Health <br />Department hire a local person if at all possible. <br />The Chairman noted the vacancy in the Board of Trustees of <br />the Lee County Library and asked the pleasure of the Board. <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr., moved that Dr. John E. Dotterer <br />be appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Lee County Library to <br />serve until June 30, 1991, to fill the vacancy created by the <br />resignation of Mr. Douglas Wilkinson, Jr. Commissioner Bertha L. <br />Matthews seconded the motion and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously <br />adopted and Dr. Dotterer appointed to the Library Board of Trustees. <br />The matter of the use of the Crestview School property for <br />the Lee County Head Start Program was brought up for discussion. It <br />was decided to defer this matter to a later meeting. Ms. Sharon <br />Cheek, Lee County Supervisor for Community Development appeared <br />before the Board and requested that the matter be considered at the <br />next meeting of the Board. <br />-00jeA <br />
