Matthews seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as follows: AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox NAY: None The Chairman ruled the resolution had been passed unanimously Mr. Eugene C. Hines, Health Director, appeared before the Board and requested authority to advertise for the employment of an accounting technician. Mr. Hines stated the technician was needed to file for reimbursement for State funds. Commissioner. Bertha L. Matthews moved that the Board of Health be authorized and empowered to advertise for the employment of an accounting technician. Commissioner William C. Stafford, Jr., seconded the motion and upon a vote, the results were as follows: AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker, and Cox NAY: None The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker requested that the Health Department hire a local person if at all possible. The Chairman noted the vacancy in the Board of Trustees of the Lee County Library and asked the pleasure of the Board. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr., moved that Dr. John E. Dotterer be appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Lee County Library to serve until June 30, 1991, to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Mr. Douglas Wilkinson, Jr. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews seconded the motion and upon a vote, the results were as follows: AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox NAY: None The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted and Dr. Dotterer appointed to the Library Board of Trustees. The matter of the use of the Crestview School property for the Lee County Head Start Program was brought up for discussion. It was decided to defer this matter to a later meeting. Ms. Sharon Cheek, Lee County Supervisor for Community Development appeared before the Board and requested that the matter be considered at the next meeting of the Board. -00jeA
