BOOK V PAGE 594 <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled that the resolution had been unani- <br />mously adopted. <br />County Planner Leonard Barefoot next presented the <br />preliminary plat for Willowbrook Farms Subdivision. The <br />Planning Board has approved the plat and after discussion, a <br />motion was made by Commissioner Matthews to approve the <br />preliminary plat for Willowbrook Farms Subdivision. <br />Commissioner Stafford seconded the motion and upon a vote the <br />results were as follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled that the resolution had been <br />unanimously adopted. <br />County Planner Barefoot then presented the Final Plat <br />for Willowbrook Farm, Section I. The Planning Board <br />recommended approval of the plat subject to a letter from the <br />Town of Broadway indicating that the required water lines had <br />been extended to serve the Subdivision. After discussion, <br />Commissioner Stafford made the motion to approve the final <br />plat of Willowbrook Farms, Section I. Commissioner Wicker <br />seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as <br />follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled that the resolution had been unani- <br />mously adopted. <br />County Planner Leonard Barefoot also presented a draft <br />of proposed extension policies for the Lee County Water <br />System. Mr. Barefoot reviewed the policy which he said was <br />modeled after the policy used by the City of Sanford. After <br />a discussion during which the Board expressed its desire to <br />study the policy more carefully, Mr. Barefoot said that he <br />would be happy to answer any questions they might have. <br />The Board discussed the proposed City-County water study <br />which was authorized by the Board of Commissioners on Febru- <br />ary 15, 1988. Chairman Cox, read a letter from Olsen and <br />Associates proposing to do the study at a cost not to exceed <br />$10,000. Commissioner Dossenbach made a potion to enter into <br />a contract with Olsen and Associates for the purpose of a <br />water study. The motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Matthews. After the motion was seconded there was a general <br />discussion of the county's water system and its future. <br />Commissioner Stafford stated that he wanted to go on record <br />
