boa V V!GF 628 motion was made by Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews and seconded by Commissioner William C. Stafford, Jr. to approve the list of refunds and releases. Upon a vote the results were as follows: AYE:Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox NAY:None The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted. The Board next considered the list of surplus property presented by Interim County Manager Beatrice C. Fields. After discussing the matter, Commissioner William C. Stafford, Jr. moved the adoption of the following Resolution: WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the County of Lee desires to dispose of certain surplus property of the County; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners as follows: 1. That those items of personal property enumerated in the letter from Mr. Donn Gunderson, Director, Social Services, to Mr. Hugh Brewer, County Maintenance Director, dated December 13, 1988, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof; those items enumerated in a letter from Hugh G. Brewer, Jr., County Maintenance Director to the Board dated December 16, 1988, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof; and those items enumerated in a letter from Robert Hailey, Lee County Parks and Recreation Department to Hugh Brewer dated December 10, 1988, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof, are declared to be surplus to the needs of Lee County; 2. That Mr. Hugh Brewer, County Maintenance Director, is authorized to receive on behalf of the Board of Commissioners offers of purchase for the described property; 3. That proper advertisement be made of the sale and that the property be sold for cash. Commissioner Bertha L.
