BOOK 12 P.tu 678 <br />(1) The public hearing upon said bond order shall be held on <br />the 20th day of March, 1989, at 7:00 o'clock P. M. at 200 Wicker Street, <br />in Sanford, North Carolina. <br />(2) The Clerk of the Board of Commissioners is hereby directed <br />to cause a copy of the bond order to be published with a notice of such <br />hearing in the form prescribed by law in a qualified newspaper not fewer <br />than six days prior to such public hearing. <br />(3) The County's Finance officer is hereby directed to file <br />with the Clerk of the Board of Commissioners prior to publication of the <br />bond order with the notice of such public hearing, a statement setting <br />forth the debt incurred or to be incurred, the appraised value of <br />property subject to taxation by the County and the net debt of the <br />County V <br />Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker seconded the motion and it was <br />adopted by the following vote: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />NAY: None <br />The Board discussed the valuable contribution that the Home <br />Builders Association had made to the work being done on the Youth <br />Services Building and expressed their appreciation to Commissioner <br />Stafford for securing this contribution. <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. moved that the County <br />secure a photograph of the Lee County Courthouse to donate to the North <br />Carolina State Bar to be exhibited in the Bar Offices in Raleigh. <br />Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews seconded the motion and upon a <br />vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />NAY: None <br />Chairman Cox ruled the resolution had been unanimously <br />adopted. <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. reported to the Board <br />that during the recent ice storm one ambulance was wrecked and because <br />of the severe weather conditions the ambulance service was given <br />instructions not to exceed 5 MPH in using the other ambulance. <br />The driveway access permit to the site for the Convention <br />- 8 - <br />
