The Board advised <br />him to plan to meet the County's needs for a longer period, possibly as <br />long as forty years. Mr. Fitchett also reported on his inspection of <br />the roof of the present courthouse. After this report, Commissioner <br />Gordon A. Wicker moved that the Board of Commissioners authorize Mr. <br />Fitchett to prepare specifications for use by the County manager in <br />soliciting bids for repair of the roof at the courthouse. Commissioner <br />William C. Stafford, Jr. seconded the motion and upon a vote the results <br />were as follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />NAY: None <br />adopted. <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously <br />The Board of Commissioners next took a short recess. <br />The Board of Commissioners reconvened with all members present <br />and Chairman Albert L. Cox presiding. <br />Mr. Leonard Barefoot, Lee County Planner, appeared before the <br />Board of Commissioners and presented several items for its <br />consideration. The first item was consideration of the Abbreviated <br />Final Plat of the Buckhorn Estates Subdivision, Section I. The Planning <br />Board unanimously recommended approval of this plat. After discussion <br />and review, Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. moved that the plat be <br />approved and the Chairman be authorized to execute a certificate of <br />approval for recordation. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker seconded the <br />motion and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />NAY: None <br />adopted. <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously <br />Mr. Barefoot next presented the abbreviated Final Plat for <br />Reece's Ridge Subdivision for review.
