ooK 12 c 69E <br />0 <br />Statute 158-7.1 the execution and delivery of said Amendment for and on <br />behalf of the County of Lee by the Chairman and Clerk is hereby <br />authorized and directed. <br />4. The easement agreement between the County of Lee and B M A <br />Technologies on the 0.34 acre parcel dated March 20, 1989, is approved <br />as to form and pursuant to the authority granted by General Statute <br />160A-273 as made applicable to Counties by General Statute 153A-176, <br />the execution and delivery of said easement agreement for and on behalf <br />of the County of Lee by the Chairman and Clerk is authorized and <br />directed. <br />5. The County of Lee hereby consents to the assignment by B M <br />A Technologies, Inc. to Floyd Browne Associates, a general partnership. <br />and the Chairman and Clerk are authorized and directed to execute such <br />consent for and on behalf of the County. <br />6. The County of Lee hereby consents to the assignment of all <br />the right, title and interest of Floyd Browne Associates, a general <br />partnership in and to the profits, revenue, income, royalties, rights <br />and benefits of arising out of that certain Agreement for Funding, <br />Design-Build and Operation -Water Treatment Plant between the County of <br />Lee and B M A Technologies, Inc. (formerly Floyd Browne Associates, <br />Inc.) dated June 1, 1987, which has been assigned to Floyd Browne <br />Associates. <br />Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews seconded the motion and upon a <br />vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been adopted by a <br />unanimous vote. <br />County Manager Beatrice Fields reported that she had contacted <br />the officials in Harnett County about the dinner meeting with the local <br />delegation to the General Assembly. <br />County Manager Beatrice Fields reported she had made <br />arrangements to acquire a photograph of the Lee County Courthouse to <br />give to the N. C. State Bar for display in its offices in Raleigh. <br />County Manager Beatrice fields reported that she had received <br />a written reply from the officials of the City of Sanford wherein they <br />-14- <br />
