oo 12 -694 <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the Lee County Board of Commissioners: <br />(1) Authorize the following individuals to sign Requisition <br />for CDBG Funds form. <br />Name Title <br />Beatrice F. Fields Finance Officer <br />Bob Joyce Economic Development Coordinator <br />Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker seconded the motion and upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously <br />adopted. <br />The County Attorney presented drafts of a leasehold deed of <br />trust, Amendment No. 1 to Agreement for Funding,Design-build and <br />Operation of Water Treatment Plant, easement for water intake site on <br />Deep River and Assignment of documents from B M A Technologies, Inc. to <br />Floyd Browne Associates, a partnership, and consent thereto for <br />consideration by the Board. The County Attorney recommended that the <br />documents be approved and the Chairman and Clerk be authorized to <br />execute and deliver the documents. After discussion and review, <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. moved the adoption of the following <br />resolution: <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of Lee County as <br />follows: <br />1. The leasehold deed of trust from Floyd Browne Associates <br />and the County of Lee in favor of Southern National Bank of North <br />Carolina on the ten (10) acre site conveyed to the County of Lee by Gold <br />Kist, Inc. by deed recorded in Bcok F~~ , Page /6 , Lee County - 2W Registry is approved as to form and pursuant to the au hority granted by <br />the General Assembly of North Carolina in Senate Bill 490, Chapter 21 <br />Session Laws of 1989, the execution and delivery of said leasehold deed <br />of trust for and on behalf of the County of Lee by the Chairman and <br />Clerk is hereby authorized and directed. <br />2. The ground lease from the County of Lee to B M A <br />Technologies, Inc. (formerly Floyd Browne Associates, Inc.) is approved <br />as to form and pursuant to the authority granted in General Statute <br />158-7.1 the execution and delivery of said ground lease for and on <br />- 12 - <br />
