eooz 12 r~ OG MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING of THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS for THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA J MONDAY, APRIL 3, 1.989 :t:t****:txt****:t:t:r**~:t*:t****:t**:r***:t**:t+*******:t*******~*~,t :t :t*~**~:t*x***:t* The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, State of North Carolina convened in the Commissioners' Room on the second floor of the County Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, North Carolina, at 9:30 A. M., Monday, April 3, 1.989. Those present were: Commissioners Albert L. Cox; John R. Dossenbach, Jr.; Bertha L. Matthews; William C. Stafford, Jr.; and Gordon A. Wicker. The Chairman declared a quorum present and the meeting open for the transaction of business. Chairman Albert L. Cox presided and the following business was transacted: The invocation was given by William K. Cowan, County Manager. The draft of the minutes of the regular meeting held on March 20th, 1989 was considered, reviewed and amended. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews moved that the draft as amended be adopted as the official minutes of said meeting and be recorded. Commissioner William C. Stafford, Jr., seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as follows: AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox NAY: None The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted. The Board next considered the proposed contract between the Sanford- Lee County Airport Commission and John R. Ogburn as the Manager of the airport, and the lease agreement between the City of Sanford, County of Lee and Central Carolina Airport, Inc. as the base operator at the airport. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews moved that the contract with Mr. Ogburn be amended to add a fifth paragraph which provides that at the end of the third year of said five year contract, the Airport Commission, the Sanford City Board of Aldermen and the Lee County Board - 1 -
