Hines, Jr., Health Director, that <br />the funds designated for a Health Educators position be used for a <br />Nutritionist position was referred back to the Board of Health for its <br />recommendation. <br />A copy of an agreement with the Sanford Housing Authority and the <br />Department on Aging on use of community space facilities in Matthews Court <br />was referred to the County Attorney for his consideration. <br />Mr. Leonard Barefoot, County Planner, appeared before the Board <br />and presented a petition requesting that the Joe Luck Road in Deep River <br />Township be added to the State maintained secondary road system. Mr. <br />Barefoot reported that the Planning Board feels the determination to <br />maintain the road should be made by the Department of Transportation and, <br />therefore, recommends that the Petition be sent to the Aberdeen office for <br />its consideration. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. moved the adoption <br />of the following Resolution: <br />WHEREAS, a Petition has been filed with the Board of <br />Commissioners of the County of Lee requesting that the Joe Luck Road in <br />Deep River Township, the location of which is indicated on the map attached <br />to the Petition, be added to the secondary road system; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners is of the opinion that the <br />above described road should be added to the secondary road system if the <br />road meets minimum standards and criteria established by the Division of <br />Highways of the Department of Transportation for the addition of roads to <br />the system; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Commissioners of the <br />County of Lee that the Department of Transportation is hereby requested to <br />review the above described road and take over the road for maintenance if <br />it meets the standards and criteria. <br />Commissioner William C. Stafford seconded the motion and upon a <br />vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted. <br />Mr. Leonard Barefoot, County Planner, presented for consideration <br />the final plat of the Woodbridge Pointe Subdivision, Phase II.
