Hines, Jr., Health Director, that the funds designated for a Health Educators position be used for a Nutritionist position was referred back to the Board of Health for its recommendation. A copy of an agreement with the Sanford Housing Authority and the Department on Aging on use of community space facilities in Matthews Court was referred to the County Attorney for his consideration. Mr. Leonard Barefoot, County Planner, appeared before the Board and presented a petition requesting that the Joe Luck Road in Deep River Township be added to the State maintained secondary road system. Mr. Barefoot reported that the Planning Board feels the determination to maintain the road should be made by the Department of Transportation and, therefore, recommends that the Petition be sent to the Aberdeen office for its consideration. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. moved the adoption of the following Resolution: WHEREAS, a Petition has been filed with the Board of Commissioners of the County of Lee requesting that the Joe Luck Road in Deep River Township, the location of which is indicated on the map attached to the Petition, be added to the secondary road system; and WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners is of the opinion that the above described road should be added to the secondary road system if the road meets minimum standards and criteria established by the Division of Highways of the Department of Transportation for the addition of roads to the system; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Commissioners of the County of Lee that the Department of Transportation is hereby requested to review the above described road and take over the road for maintenance if it meets the standards and criteria. Commissioner William C. Stafford seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as follows: AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox NAY: None The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted.
