eoo, 12 PACE 731 <br />1, hereof, are not private activity bonds as defined in the Code and (ii) <br />the Issuer, together with any subordinate entities, reasonably expects that <br />it will not issue more than $16,000,000 of tax-exempt obligations (other <br />than private activity bonds which are not qualified (501)c) (3) bonds <br />during calendar year 1989. In addition, the Issuer hereby designates the <br />above-mentioned notes as "qualified tax-exempt obligations" for the <br />purposes of Section 265(b)(3) of the Code. <br />The motion having been duly seconded and the resolution having <br />been considered, it was adopted by the following vote: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />NAY: None <br />The Committee concerned with the auction of surplus real and <br />personal property submitted a report recommending the following actions: <br />(1) Schedule the auction for the disposal of surplus personal <br />property on June 24, 1989, at 10:00 A. M. at the Lee County Armory; <br />(2) Schedule the auction for the disposal of surplus real <br />property for mid-July;/ <br />(3) Solicit formal bid packages from qualified auctioneering <br />firms for a turnkey auction. <br />Commissioner William C. Stafford, Jr. moved that the <br />recommendations of the committee be accepted and implemented. <br />Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews seconded the motion and upon a vote the <br />results were as follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />NAY: None <br />The County Manager presented for consideration Budget Amendment <br />405/01/89/26. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker moved the adoption of the <br />following resolution: <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for the County of <br />Lee that the Budget for the fiscal year July 1988 - June 30, 1989, be <br />amended as follows: <br />SECTION 1.
