not V ?Au6 753 <br />amendment to the Lee County Subdivision ordinance which would require <br />developers to connect subdivision lots to public water and sewer where such <br />water and sewer was available and appropriate. Mr. Barefoot requested that <br />the Board consider holding a public hearing on this amendment as required by <br />law. Mr. Gordon A. Wicker moved that the Board proceed to hold a public <br />hearing on the proposed Subdivision Ordinance Amendment and that the <br />appropriate County officials see that proper advertisement is made of such <br />public hearing. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. seconded the motion and <br />upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled that the motion had been unanimously adopted. <br />The Board next considered the vehicle situation in the County <br />Sanitation Department. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews moved the adoption of <br />the following Resolution: <br />WHEREAS, THE Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee desires to <br />dispose of certain surplus property of the County; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for Lee <br />County that: <br />1. The following described property is hereby declared to be <br />surplus to the needs of the County: <br />One 1982 Chev. C-10 pickup truck ID #1GCDC14D1CF380866 <br />2. The County Manager is authorized to dispose of the described <br />property at private sale at a negotiated price. <br />3. The Clerk will cause this resolution to be published in <br />accordance with G. S. 160-A-267. <br />4. The sale may be consummated not earlier than ten (10) days from <br />the date of publication. <br />Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker seconded the motion and upon a vote <br />the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted. <br />Commissioner Bertha L.
