Cox and Bertha L. <br />Matthews <br />911 STEERING COMMITTEE: No change <br />The County attorney reviewed with the Board the status of the lawsuit <br />entitled Marable vs. Yentsch which involves the County Social Services Board <br />and approved the settlement on the basis outlined in a letter from Mr. Tom <br />Davis of the firm of Poyner and Spruill who appear for the County's insurance <br />carrier. Motion to authorize the settlement was made by Commissioner John R. <br />Dossenbach, Jr., which motion was seconded by Commissioner William C. Stafford, <br />Jr. and the results of the vote were as follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted. <br />Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker moved that the meeting be adjourned <br />until 10:00 A. M. on Monday, June 12, 1989, to reconvene in the Commissioners' <br />room on the second floor of the County Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, <br />Sanford, North Carolina. Commissioner William C. Stafford, Jr. seconded the <br />motion and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />- 4 - <br />
