eoo~ 1?. : 794 <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted. <br />The Board reviewed the Change Order from Centurian Construction <br />Company but deferred consideration of the matter until they had received the <br />other Change Orders on the electrical work. <br />The Board took up for consideration the procedure to follow in <br />renewing insurance policies, and it was resolved to require the policies to <br />be submitted to the Board of Commissioners for their consideration and <br />approval. <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach moved that Commissioner Bertha <br />L. Matthews be designated to be the voting delegate for Lee County for the <br />North Carolina meeting of County Commissioners. Commissioner Albert seconded <br />the motion and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />MAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted. <br />The Board next reviewed with the County Attorney and the Tax <br />Collector the procedures being followed and the alternative means of <br />collection available to the Board with respect to ambulance bills. Following <br />discussion of collection procedures, Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. <br />moved that the Board continue its present collection procedures and that the <br />Tax Collector be relieved of audit responsibility for the accounts presented <br />to the Board at its June 5th, 1989 meeting, with the understanding that the <br />Tax Collector take such steps as he deems requisite and necessary to effect <br />collection of such accounts. Commissioner William C. Stafford, Jr. seconded <br />the motion and upon a vote the results were: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted. <br />The Board next considered the list of persons it was considering <br />for appointment to various county agencies. It was reported to the Board <br />that Mrs. Ruth Naylor had declined the appointment to the Rest Home & Nursing <br />Home Advisory Committee. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. moved that <br />Mrs. Rebecca Von Canon be appointed to that Board in place of Mrs. Naylor. <br />Commissioner William C.
