eoo V PANG 834 <br />appropriate State Agencies and that his recommendation was that the low bid <br />of Nor/Com, Inc. be accepted. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. moved <br />that the low bid of Nor/Com, Inc. be accepted and the appropriate County <br />officials be authorized to enter into a contract with the firm for the <br />installation of the telephone system in the County Office Building at the <br />corner of Hillcrest Drive and Carthage Street. Commissioner William C. <br />Stafford, Jr. seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as <br />follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted. <br />The Board next discussed an ordinance requiring a license for <br />peddlers. Copy of the ordinance is attached to these minutes and by this <br />reference made a part hereof. <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. moved that the ordinance <br />regulating peddlers, itinerant merchants, flea market operators and venders <br />be adopted. Commissioner William C. Stafford, Jr. seconded the motion and <br />upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the ordinance had been unanimously adopted. <br />Commissioner William C. Stafford, Jr. moved that the Board go into <br />executive session to discuss a contractural matter. Commissioner John R. <br />Dossenbach, Jr. seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted and <br />that the Board was in executive session. The Board recessed the executive <br />session at 12:30 and reconvened at 1:30 P. M. Following the discussion in <br />executive session, Commissioner William C. Stafford, Jr. moved that the <br />session be closed and the regular session be resumed. Commissioner Bertha L. <br />Matthews seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman declared the executive session closed and the regular <br />session resumed. <br />- 8 - <br />
