C-0? <br />LEE COUNTY <br />I' M (D 0QG) a�CD 0 C] <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />106 HILLCREST DRIVE <br />SANFORD, NORTH CAROLINA 27330 <br />SEPTEMBER 19, 2011 <br />The regular meeting of the Lee County Board of CommissionA for the County of Lee, State of <br />North Carolina, convened at 3 p.m. in the Commissioners' R om"�Lee Government Center, 106 <br />Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina, on said date. Commissioners present were Richard B. Hayes, <br />Larry "Doc" Oldham, Charles T. Parks, Nathan E. Paschal, Linda A�'Shook, and James K. Womack, Jr. <br />Commissioner Robert T. Reives was absent at the beginning of the meeting "but joined the meeting at a <br />later time. <br />Chairman Shook called the meeting to ordu�d- the following business was transacted: <br />Commissioner Richard Hayes delivered <br />The pledge of allegiance was recited. <br />The Board considered additions /changes to the Agenda. With no changes made, <br />Commissioner Oldham moved to approve the agenda as presented. Upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: /_-, \ ) L___ 1, <br />Aye: Hayes \Oldham, Parks, Paschal, Shook, and Womack <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Reives <br />the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />'Uo missioner,Hbyes moved to approve the Consent Agenda which consisted of the following <br />items: <br />Minutes from the August 15, 2011 regular meeting, <br />• Minutes from the August 26, 2011 special called meeting, <br />• Purchase of three replacement vehicles for COLTS ($119,109 with a 10% local <br />match), <br />• Purchase of a new 2012 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 SUV for the Sheriff's Department <br />($29,375), <br />• Purchase of a new 2011 Ford Explorer 44 for the Civil Division, Sheriff's <br />Department ($24,000), <br />
