B~oK 12 <br />Farm Road in Cape Fear Township be added to State Maintained Secondary Road <br />System. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews moved the adoption of the <br />following Resolution with respect to Hillcrest Farm Road: <br />WHEREAS, the attached petition has been filed with the Board of <br />County Commissioners of the County of Lee requesting that the Hillcrest <br />Farm Road in Cape Fear Township, the location of which has been <br />indicated in red on the attached map, be added to the Secondary Road <br />System; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners is of the opinion that <br />the above described road should be added to the Secondary Road System, <br />if the road meets minimum standards and criteria established by the <br />Division of Highways of the Department of Transportation for the <br />addition of roads to the System. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of the County of Lee that the Division of Highways is <br />hereby requested to review the above described road, and to take over <br />the road for maintenance if it meets established standards and criteria. <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. seconded the motion and upon <br />a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />HAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the Resolution had been unanimously adopted. <br />Mr. Leonard Barefoot, County Planner presented an abbreviated <br />final plat for Ward's Chapel Village Subdivision. Commissioner John R. <br />Dossenbach, Jr. moved that the plat be approved provided all prior taxes on <br />the property have been paid. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker seconded the <br />motion, and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been unanimously adopted. <br />Mr. Barefoot gave a report on the progress of the paving of the <br />parking lots adjacent to the old hospital building. <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. moved that Commissioners <br />William C. Stafford, Jr. and Gordon A. Wicker serve with County Manager <br />Cowan on a committee to plan for the use of the top two floors at the old <br />hospital building. Commissioner Bertha L.
