That it is the intention that the Lee County Resource Center, <br />when built, be turned over to CCCC for such use as it sees fit; and <br />2. It is the intention that when the outstanding indebtedness <br />incurred by the County of Lee for the construction of the Lee County <br />Resource Center is fully paid and satisfied that the Resource Center <br />and the 6.92 acre site be conveyed to the Board of Trustees of CCCC. <br />Commissioner William C. Stafford, Jr. seconded the motion and <br />upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted. <br />Mr. Leonard Barefoot, County Planner, appeared before the Board <br />and presented a Petition requesting the paving of Badders Road in Deep <br />River Township. The Planning Board unanimously recommended the approval of <br />the Petition. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews moved the adoption of the <br />following Resolution with respect to Badders Road (SR 1430): <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of the County of Lee <br />has investigated the condition of the above described road which is now <br />a part of the system of roads maintained by the State Highway <br />Commission, and which is indicated in red on the attached map; and <br />WHEREAS, after careful consideration of the services rendered by <br />said road and the traffic demands of said county it is deemed <br />necessary that said road be imnproved in order to better serve the <br />interests of the people of this county. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved, and the Board of County Commissioners <br />hereby approved and request that the State Highway Commission make the <br />following improvements in the above described road: PAVED. <br />Commissioner John R.
