660 12 F" ;E 875 <br />TO THE TAX COLLECTOR OF THE COUNTY OF LEE: You are hereby authorized, <br />empowered, and commanded to collect the taxes set forth in the tax <br />records filed in the office of the Tax Assessor and in the tax <br />receipts herewith delivered to you, in the amounts and from the <br />taxpayers likewise therein set forth. Such taxes are hereby declared . <br />to be a first lien upon all real property of the respective taxpayers <br />in the County of Lee, and this order shall be a full and sufficient <br />authority to direct, require, and enable you to levy on and sell any <br />real or personal property of such taxpayers, for on account thereof, <br />in accordance with law. <br />Commissioner William C. Stafford, Jr. seconded the motion and <br />upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been unanimously adopted. <br />The Board next reviewed the schedule of values on County property <br />which had been prepared for insurance purposes. After discussion and <br />review of the schedule, Commissioner William C. Stafford, Jr. moved that <br />the schedule be adopted as the values to be used for insurance purposes <br />SAVE AND EXCEPT for the figures set forth on the old hospital building and <br />that they be excluded from such schedule at this time. <br />Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker seconded the motion and upon a vote <br />the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been unanimously adopted. <br />The Board next considered the Cash Management and Investment <br />Policy for Lee County. A copy of the statement entitled "County of Lee, <br />Cash Management and Investment Policy" is attached to these minutes and by <br />this reference made a part hereof. <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. moved that the policy as <br />drafted and submitted to the Board be adopted as the official Cash <br />Management and Investment Policy for Lee County. Commissioner Bertha L. <br />Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />NAY: None <br />-23- <br />
