soot V gag <br />'that do salary classification and pay plan suys in the State <br />of North Carolina. We have received three that have done work <br />in this State and in this immediate area. He recommended the <br />board award the bid to the low bidder, David M. Griffith and <br />Associates to perform a pay classification and benefit study for <br />Lee County employees. The bids received were as follows: <br />David M. Griffith and Associates $13,400 <br />Management and Personnel Services $14,300 <br />Municipal Advisors, Inc. $16,150 <br />Commissioner Wicker moved to award the bid to the low <br />bidder David M. Griffith and Associates. The motion was <br />seconded by Commissioner Stafford and upon a vote the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion carried unanimously. <br />The County Manager advised of a letter from the City <br />Building Inspector concerning electrical problems in the Wilrik <br />Building. The Inspector is asking for drawings that will have <br />to be approved by the Department of Insurance to upgrade this <br />building to meet the North Carolina Building Codes. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach asked the County Manager to meet <br />with all departments in the Wilrik Building to determine if <br />nothing is done to the building and it is vacated, where would <br />they go. <br />Commissioner Matthews moved that Commissioner Dossenbach <br />and Commissioner Wicker study this with Mr. Cowan and Mr. Joyce <br />and report back to the Board. The motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Stafford and upon a vote the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion carried unanimously. <br />There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. <br />Albert L.Cox, Chairman <br />Ann/'Cahall, Clerk <br />7 <br />
