Following the <br />recess, the board convened with all members present. <br />Commissioner Stafford moved that at the second meeting in <br />December, December 18, 1989, at 7:00 P.M. the Board hold a <br />Public Hearing at the present courthouse on the location and <br />space needs of the courthouse, jail and sheriff facilities. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach seconded the motion and upon a vote <br />the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion carried unanimously. <br />Discussion followed on the guidelines for the Public <br />Hearing and if there would be limitations on the time people <br />could speak. Commissioner Matthews suggested the County <br />Attorney conduct the meeting. The Board authorized the County <br />Attorney to bring to the next Board meeting a recommended <br />agenda for the Public Hearing. <br />Commissioner Stafford moved that the Board go into <br />executive session to discuss legal matters. Commissioner <br />Dossenbach seconded the motion and upon a vote the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been unanimously <br />adopted and the Board was in executive session. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved that the executive session <br />be closed. Commissioner Stafford seconded the motion and upon <br />a vote the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been unanimously <br />adopted and the Board had resumed its open meeting. <br />There being no further business to come before this <br />session, Commissioner Dossenbach moved that the meeting be <br />adjourned. Commissioner Wicker seconded the motion and upon a <br />vote the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, Wicker and Cox <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been unanimously <br />3 <br />
