600K ~3 PASE ~ <br />Lee County, North Carolina; and <br />WHEREAS, all checks and drafts drawn against said funds <br />shall be signed by one of the following county officials: <br />Finance Officer <br />Assistant Finance Officer <br />and countersigned by the following county official: <br />County Manager <br />WHEREAS, Lee County desires to make use of an electronic <br />check signing machine that will utilize facsimile signatures of <br />the above referenced county officials: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Lee County Board of <br />Commissioners that Southern National Bank, Sanford, North <br />Carolina, as the central depository for all Lee County funds is <br />hereby requested to honor checks and drafts against funds <br />deposited in the name of Lee County that bear the facsimile <br />signatures of the above referenced county officials. <br />Commissioner Cox seconded the motion and upon a vote the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution was unanimously adopted. <br />Commissioner Cox moved that the Board go into executive <br />session to discuss legal matters. Commissioner Stafford <br />seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been unanimously adopted <br />and the Board was in executive session. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved that the executive session be <br />closed. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion and upon a vote <br />the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been unanimously adopted <br />and the Board had resumed its regular meeting. <br />There being no further business, the meeting was <br />adjourned. <br />7 <br />
