The County Manager is <br />receive in the County's behalf <br />the property described above. <br />13 Pas E 16 <br />authorized and directed to <br />sealed bids for the purchase of <br />3. Sealed bids may be submitted to the County Manager's <br />office to be opened on February 5, 1990 at 10:00 o'clock a.m. at <br />the Commissioner's Room, Lee County Office Building, 200 Wicker <br />Street, Sanford, North Carolina. <br />4. The Clerk shall cause a notice of this resolution to be <br />published in accordance with G.S. 153A-176. <br />5. Bids will not be accepted unless, upon time of filing, <br />they are accompanied by a deposit of cash, cashier's or <br />certified check, or bid bond equal to 50 of the amount bid, <br />which deposit will be retained until closing. <br />6. After all bids are received, the Board of Commissioners <br />of the County of Lee shall accept or reject the highest <br />responsible bid within fifteen (15) days. The Board of <br />Commissioners of the County of Lee reserves the right to reject <br />any or all bids. <br />The motion was seconded by Commissioner Matthews and upon a <br />vote the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion carried unanimously. <br />There being no further business to come before the session, <br />Commissioner Cox moved to adjourn. Commissioner Matthews <br />seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />I the motion had been unanimously adopted <br />[ed. <br />Gordon A.
