Fee schedules may be amended by the Board of Commissioners from time to <br />time. <br />Section 22-56. Term; renewal <br />A franchise shall be for a term of four years and shall be renewable. <br />Section 22-57. Schedule of fees to be presented to customer in advance; <br />removal frequency. <br />A solid waste collector franchised under this article shall present to each prospective <br />customer, in advance of any agreement with that customer, a schedule of his/her fees as <br />authorized by this article to be charged. All solid waste shall be removed from the <br />customer's premises at least once a week, provided the customer is no more than 30 days <br />in arrears in payment of the required collection fees. <br />Section 22-58. Temporary franchises. <br />® The Board of Commissioners may grant temporary franchises for the collection, <br />transportation or disposal of solid waste to provide service in the event of abandonment <br />of an existing franchise, or for other cause. <br />Section 22-59. Nonexclusive franchises. <br />Notwithstanding any other provision of this article to the contrary, the Board of <br />Commissioners may grant nonexclusive franchises for the collection of commercial, <br />industrial, institutional and construction and demolition waste throughout the county. <br />Section 22-60. Disputes and disagreements. <br />All disputes regarding the granting of a franchise and disagreements concerning franchise <br />areas shall be determined by the Board of Commissioners. <br />Section 22-61.
