060 <br />r1 <br />LJ <br />0 <br />• <br />Section 22-14 Prohibited wastes <br />The following wastes will not be accepted at the county solid waste collection facilities: <br />(1) Asbestos; <br />(2) Burning or smoldering materials, or any other materials that would create <br />a fire hazard; <br />(3) Commercial waste; <br />(4) Construction & demolition waste; <br />(5) Hazardous waste; <br />(6) Industrial waste; <br />(7) Institutional waste; <br />(8) Radioactive waste; <br />(1) Regulated medical waste; <br />(10) Animal Feces: <br />(11) Dead Animals; <br />(12) Yard waste; <br />(13) Sludges; <br />(14) Barrels; <br />(15) Sharps not prepared according to this chapter; <br />(16) Any item not acceptable at the solid waste disposal facility utilized by the <br />County; and <br />(17) Other wastes as specifically prohibited by the Department, the Director of <br />General Services and/or his/her authorized representative. <br />Section 22-15 Commercial use of collection facilities <br />Commercial solid waste collectors and person(s) other than the owners and/or occupants <br />of noncommercial residential premises within the territorial jurisdiction of this chapter <br />shall not use the County solid waste collection facilities. <br />Section 22-16 Facility attendants <br />The sites of each solid waste collection facility shall be attended by employees or agents <br />of the County when open. Such attendants shall refuse to accept and allow the unloading <br />of solid waste, which fails to comply with provisions of this chapter or with the rules duly <br />promulgated by the Department and/or the Director of General Services. No solid waste <br />may be unloaded or otherwise placed in any container or on the site thereof unless an <br />attendant is present and has accepted such solid waste. A violation of such provision is a <br />violation of this chapter. <br />10 <br />
