eoK 13 30 <br />The Board nex considered an appointment o the Lee County <br />JOB Opportunity and Basic Skills Task Force. Commissioner <br />Dossenbach was appointed as the County's representative on this <br />Task Force which is administered by Social Services. <br />The Board then considered responsibilities of the Water <br />and Finance Committees. Commissioner Stafford moved to approve <br />the following responsibilities be designated to the Water <br />Committee: <br />1. Water System Rules & Regulations. <br />2. Extension Policy. <br />3. Requests for extensions. <br />4. Employment of contracted services. <br />5. Oversight of FBA Water Plant and all water system assets. <br />6. Water Rates. <br />Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion and upon a vote <br />the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion carried unanimously. <br />Commissioner Matthews moved to approve the following <br />responsibilities be designated to the Finance Committee: <br />1. Recommend annual budget. <br />2. Recommend Long Range Capital Plan. <br />3. Review and recommend Budget Amendments when additional <br />funds or contingency appropriations are necessary. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach seconded the motion and upon a vote <br />the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion carried unanimously. <br />The Board next considered appointing one of the <br />Commissioners to work with Commissioner Stafford on the Waste <br />Committee. The Chairman asked Commissioner Matthews to serve <br />on this committee. <br />There being no further business to come before the session, <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved to adjourn. Commissioner Cox <br />seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been unanimously adopted <br />5 <br />
