® 004 13 VALE authorized by said oond orders, which indebtedness shall be secured by a pledge of the County's faith and credit, (b) the levy of a tax for the payment thereof, and (c) said bond orders shall be submitted to the qualified voters of said County at an election to be held in said County on May 8, 1990. (2) The Clerk of the Board of Commissioners is hereby authorized and directed to publish a notice of said election which shall be in substantially the following form: THE COUNTY OF LEE, NORTH CAROLINA NOTICE OF SPECIAL BOND ELECTION NOTICE I8 HEREBY GIVEN that a special bond election will be held in the County of Lee, North Carolina, on May 8, 1990, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified voters of said County the questions whether they shall approve or disapprove (1) the indebtedness to be incurred by the issuance of bonds of said county of the maximum principal amount of $8,700,000, which indebtedness shall be secured by a pledge of the County's faith and credit, and (2) the levy of a tax for the payment of such bonds, and (3) the bond order entitled, "BOND ORDER AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $8,700,000 PUBLIC BUILDING BONDS OF THE COUNTY OF LEE," adopted by the Board of Commissioners to authorize the issuance of said bonds and the levy of such tax and whether they shall approve or disapprove (1) the indebtedness to be incurred by the issuance of bonds of said County of the maximum principal amount of $1,000,000, which indebtedness shall be secured by a pledge of the County's faith and credit, and (2) the levy of a tax for the payment of such bonds, and (3) the bond order entitled, "BOND ORDER AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $1,000,000 SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER BONDS OF THE COUNTY OF LEE," adopted by the Board of Commissioners to authorize the issuance of said bonds and the levy of such tax. The $8,7000.000 Public Building Bonds are authorized to pay capital costs of constructing and improving public buildings, including the provision of courtrooms and other court facilities, offices, meeting rooms and jail and other confinement facilities, and the renovation of and construction of additions to the existing County Courthouse and including the acquisition and installation of necessary furnishings, equipment and machinery and the acquisition of rights-in-land required therefor. The $1,000,000 Senior Citizens Center Bonds are authorized to pay capital costs of constructing a senior citizens center, including the acquisition and installation of necessary furnishings and equipment and the acquisition of rights-in-land required therefor. The ballots to be used at said election shall contain the words, "SHALL the order authorizing $8,700,000 of bonds secured by a pledge of the faith and credit of the County of Lee to pay capital costs of constructing and improving public buildings, 7
